It's late on a Saturday night as I make my way up the stairs into the dimly lit, top chamber of celestial studios. It's an enormous space, lined with a kind of dark rattan, emanating a sultry sensuousness. It's like entering a sacred space. The music is vibey, it softly throbs while a smoke machine occasionally lets out a burst ensuring an ethereal fog sits low on the ground. The space is filled with elaborate, scary, metal bondage equipment, every shape to contort a body. The pièce de résistance is the huge, raised cage in the centre of the room... and the delights it holds. Inside are eight slaves, four female, four male, mostly naked, all standing. Some face in, some out, each with a small hessian sack on their heads.
