\nThe Sh! Women\u2019s Erotic Emporium was opened in the ’90s, it was run by women for women offering an alternative to the seedy men’s sex shops of the era. This was before the advent of on-line shopping so as a woman it was difficult to even get hold of a vibrator. I visited it a lot back in the ’90s as I lived quite nearby, when the store first opened it was a ‘Woman Only’ store – they did let men in but only if accompanied by a responsible female. (This is now no longer required.)<\/p>\n
