I stood up from the chair, anxious now to extricate myself in my acute embarrassment and discomfort – all too aware of her penetrating stare, those eyes boring into me, seeing everything, even things I probably wasn\u2019t aware of myself. Her power and dominance were visceral, without her even saying a word. And another truth now presented itself, burning through the flotsam of my fear. This was the cord of control – the utter purity of dominance, control, subjugation and enslavement – more potent than any physical leash because its power was implied and inherent in the power play now underway.
